This Applies to All Drakkar Users
Whether you are a rider, driver, car owner, fleet owner, fleet employee, or corporate/employer account holder — you have the right to request permanent deletion of your Drakkar account and associated personal data under GDPR Article 17.
What Data Is Deleted for Your Account Type
The data we delete depends on your role on the Drakkar platform. Select your account type below to see exactly what will be removed.
Rider / Passenger
- Profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Saved places and address history
- Payment methods (Stripe/Vipps tokens)
- Push notification tokens
- Voice interaction logs
- Trip history — addresses are removed; anonymized metadata retained 6 years per bokføringsloven
- Ratings and feedback — dissociated from your identity
Driver / Transport Provider
- Everything listed under Rider, plus:
- BankID verification records and identity documents
- Driving credentials and uploaded driver documents
- Vehicle registration data linked to your profile
- KYC (Know Your Customer) verification records
- Driver ranking and scoring data
- Dispatch appeal history — anonymized
- Earnings records — anonymized totals retained for tax/accounting compliance
Car Owner
- Company and personal profile information
- BankID verification records
- Vehicle registrations and insurance documents
- Employee/driver assignment records — dissociated
- Wallet and payout history — anonymized totals retained for accounting
- Employer invitation records
- Account settings and preferences
Important: If you have active drivers or employees assigned to your vehicles, you must reassign or remove them before your deletion can be processed.
Fleet Owner
- Fleet company profile and contact information
- BankID verification records
- Fleet vehicle registrations and assignments
- Driver invitation and onboarding records
- Fleet analytics data
- Manager invitation records
- Communication logs within the fleet portal
- Financial records — anonymized totals retained for accounting
Important: Fleet deletion affects all drivers, vehicles, and assignments under your fleet. All fleet members must be notified and reassigned before processing. Contact team@drakkkar.no to coordinate fleet account closure.
Corporate / Employer Account
- Organisation profile and administrator contact details
- BankID verification records
- Employee ride spending records — anonymized totals retained
- Corporate billing and invoice data — retained where required by Norwegian accounting law
- Manager and employee assignment records
Important: Corporate account deletion must be initiated by an authorised administrator. Active corporate billing agreements must be settled before deletion can proceed.
Data Retained by Law
Norwegian law requires us to retain certain financial and accounting records regardless of deletion requests:
- Transaction records and invoices — 5 years (bokføringsloven § 13)
- Tax-relevant earnings data — 5 years (skatteforvaltningsloven)
- Anti-money laundering records — 5 years after end of business relationship (hvitvaskingsloven § 30)
- All retained data is anonymized so it cannot be linked back to your identity
